Commercial Cleaning Wembley

Wembley is a medium density suburb and much of its unit stock came from older houses being replaced through the second half of the last century, which means a lot of low rise blocks of a similar age and a similar layout.

Cambridge Street is the commercial centre, with Selby Street, Herdsman Parade and Grantham Street carrying the rest. Around those streets there are shops, small offices, medical and allied health practices, and apartments above them. The common thread across most of the strata work here is stairwells rather than lifts and open carports rather than basements.

Galup, formerly Lake Monger, sits on the edge of the suburb and there are three schools within it. Along Cambridge Street the buildings are mostly shops and small offices with apartments above, while the residential streets behind carry the low rise blocks the suburb is known for. Most of those complexes were built to a similar pattern, which makes the schedules comparable from one building to the next in a way they are not in a suburb with a wider mix.

Most Wembley complexes are walk ups, so equipment is carried rather than wheeled, there is nowhere secure to store anything between visits, and the carpark is usually open to the street. We plan the run around that. Along Cambridge Street parking is limited through trading hours, so buildings on that strip are scheduled early or late. Mature street trees drop steadily onto walkways, carports and gutters, so external sweeping runs on a tighter cycle here.
